These terms cover your use of Short Final. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the site.

Orders and fulfillment

Merch is made to order. Handling typically takes 3–7 business days before shipping, and delivery times vary by destination. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Because each piece is produced for you, we can't accept size-based returns — check the size chart first. If an item arrives misprinted, damaged, or defective, contact us and we'll make it right.

Affiliate links and prices

Some links are affiliate links; as an Amazon Associate we may earn a commission when you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Any prices we show for third-party gear are the last value we observed and may be out of date — the retailer's listing is always the authority at the moment you buy.

Intellectual property

All artwork, designs, and copy on this site are original to Short Final and are ours. Our designs use the public visual language of aviation — instruments, sectional-chart grammar, traffic patterns — and contain no licensed manufacturer, airline, or organization marks. All places, identifiers, and tail marks in our art are fictional. You may not reproduce or resell our designs without permission.

Guides are not instruction

Our guides and gear opinions are for general information from an enthusiast's point of view. They are not certificated flight instruction, airworthiness guidance, or a substitute for your CFI, your aircraft's POH, or the FARs. For anything that affects safety of flight, rely on those sources.

Limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, Short Final isn't liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content.
